Monkeypox: PCR test ready before outbreak

  1. Donation Campaign June 2022

Dear reader friends. We are launching a new fundraising campaign for the current month of June, and we are counting on you to help us continue our media work. As you know, there is a cost to maintain and operate our site, and we depend almost entirely on your donation to fund it. Réseau International needs you more than ever to ensure the continuity of its work of thinking and returning information

    Total Donations 5,195.00 euros

While France is on alert because the country had 16 cases of monkeypox on May 29, 2022 and the High Health Authority already recommended on May 24 that health professionals and contact cases be vaccinated, we found that the study of monkeypox by scientists from the P4 laboratory in Wuhan and the Academy Chinese Science in February 2022. It shows that a PCR test technology has been developed to detect the virus.

L ‘studysubmitted in August 2021, validated and published in February 2022, a few months before the official appearance of first case Monkeypox in May 2022.

a The study aims to to be able tovirus detection

To summarize the study, researchers have successfully developed a DNA sequencing technology that allows PCR tests to identify the virus. They refer to “Efficient assembly of a large portion of the monkeypox virus genome as a qPCR model using double-selection-based transformation-associated recombination”.

This is a new technology for virus detection by quantitative polymerase chain reaction that is presented here: it consists of fusing portions of the monkeypox genome with genetic sequences of yeasts that make it possible to read, fluorescence label and amplify the genetic portions of the desired virus. In this case, the Chinese researchers obtained synthetic sequences from the monkeypox virus genome that correspond to “less than a third of the total genome,” according to the study. This is for obvious security reasons: assembling the entire virus will certainly make it possible to fully detect it, will make it more visible at the time of PCR amplification and will reduce the risk of getting false positives. But completely reconfiguring it can make it infectious.

That’s the risk a group of Chinese-American researchers took in 2017 while researching a chickenpox vaccination. Scientists from the American biotechnology company Tonix Pharmaceuticals have already proposed to assemble this entire virus on the basis of an artificial DNA sequence. Thus, the aggregation obtained endowed this new virus with all its infective and toxicological properties. A risk that Wuhan researchers say they want to rule out.

Existing risks

However, these manipulations are not without risk, as viruses that have been studied in the laboratory and in some cases transformed after functional gains can get away with it, whatever they may be. In the case of the study involved in this article, scientists recognize that not all of the consequences of these recombination processes are under control which could “raise potential safety issues, particularly when the combined product contains the full range of genetic material that can be recovered in an infectious pathogen” .

But as with the causal link between vaccines and side effects, it seems difficult to establish the possibility of the virus being between a virus that escaped from a laboratory and an epidemic, which may be the case for Covid-19, a hypothesis long ago debunked by the media, and then rehabilitated.

It must be remembered that research on coronaviruses was conducted in the Wuhan laboratory and it is strongly believed that genetic manipulation may have been carried out there.

Today, there may be talk that Mr. Stephan Bancel, CEO of Moderna, could be one of those responsible for the spread of Covid-19. In an interview with a Fox Business reporter in February 2022 who asked if the sequence in the RNA for SARS-CoV-2 actually matched that patented by the US Pharmaceutical Laboratory in 2017, Mr Bancel admitted that the lab leak had not been ruled out, and that the error It was human and that a team of scientists was checking this data. We are still waiting for the results…

Turn on the gag or more wisdom at ?

In the case of monkeypox, will it again be scoffed at assuming a link between the laboratory virus and the real epidemic and the accusation of conspiracy, and then accepting it without any apology to the first whistleblower? Will we this time find evidence of a concrete link between the animal and the form of the virus that is currently circulating in humans, as is the case with Covid-19? If we find that patent holders may be responsible for the spread of a virus like Stéphane Bancel, will they kick as he did and continue to sell their vaccine “cures”, in the greatest media silence and with impunity? If today we cannot say anything, it is important for us to remain vigilant.
