Demons will be interested in getting Kaiden Primo

Before the start of the qualifying round at Laval Rocket, there were serious doubts about Kayden Primo’s future. The young goalkeeper had some good times in the AHL, but he ran into a problem dominate. And in the NHL, he was far from being very convincing.

However, Primo has lived up to his reputation as a great opportunity player in the recent series, being Rocket’s best player and leading the club to a match in the Calder Cup Final. We felt confident and it paid off big. very enormous.

And so Primo made his name back as a long-term option for the Habs Network, but that’s not all: he even caught the eye of other teams at the Bettman circuit.

This was mentioned by Jimmy Murphy from Montreal hockey nowwho also notes that the Demons are among the teams that might be interested in his services.

An unnamed CEO Murphy spoke to notes that Primo proved he had to bowels And he has a mental toughness that was a bit shy in previous years. The talent has always been there in Primeau, it’s the rest that has been shown in recent weeks.

It’s a funny coincidence to see Primo associated with demons, who just grew up in New Jersey. Not Boy There (he was born in Michigan), but his family moved to New Jersey a few months after Kayden was born.

Primeau’s value has apparently not risen to the point where the demons are willing to give a second choice in the draft for his services, but if the CH is interested in that choice, perhaps Primeau will be a part of it. Package To get him. It will take longer, but it could be one of them (although I doubt this scenario will come true).

Murphy notes, however, that Kent Hughes would like to wait to learn more about Carey Price’s health before considering a transaction involving a guard from his establishment. Thus, as with many issues that will be ironed out at CH this summer, Price’s knee condition will be a determining factor.

In short, a file to watch, but (probably) not for the short term. If another goalkeeper shines in the organization next season, Primo may be available then, but I think it will take more than an interesting offer to get him out of Montreal.
